No problem! If you need the dumpster bin for longer than 7 days, simply let us know, and we can arrange for an extension. We charge $10 per day for extensions.

You can dispose of most household and construction waste, such as furniture, appliances, drywall, and yard waste but is ultimately subject to local regulations and bylaws. For a full list of accepted materials, please contact us.
The cost varies depending on the dumpster size, rental duration, and the type of materials you’re disposing of. We provide flat rate base rental pricing. Information on pricing can be found on this page.
Call our team and we can help you choose the right dumpster size. For reference, a 6 or 10 yard dumpster is ideal for small cleanouts, while a 30 or 40 yard dumpster is better suited for large renovations or construction projects.
We typically look for 1 to 2 days notice prior to pick up but do offer same day and next day delivery options. Our customer service team will call in advance of the rental period ending to ask about extensions and schedule a pick up time.
For our base bin rentals, we charge a single flat rate based on the bin size and material (concrete and soil vs regular household waste). A charge of $125 per incremental tonne will be charged if the maximum weight is exceeded. If an extension is required, we have an additional charge of $10 per day. Our goal is to provide you with certainty over the cost of a bin rental.
North York Bin Rental Placement Guidelines

Option 1: Driveway Placement
The Recommended Option. Placing the bin on your private property is the best way to avoid the City of Toronto's strict permit fees and wait times. No permit is required for bins entirely on private property.

- Save Significant Money: Toronto street permits are among the most expensive in the GTA.
- Immediate Delivery: No 2-3 week waiting period for city approval.
- Convenience: Keep the bin close to your door for faster loading.
Our North York Driveway Protection:

- Precision Placement: Drivers skilled in navigating tight post-war bungalow driveways.
- Safe Setup: We ensure the bin does not block the public sidewalk (a common by-law infraction).
Good to know: If you have a shared driveway, please coordinate with your neighbor first.
Option 2: Street Placement
For Properties with No Driveway. If you have no off-street parking, the bin must go on the road. This requires a Temporary Street Occupation Permit from the City of Toronto.
When street placement is necessary:
- Homes with only street parking (common in older North York neighbourhoods).
- Renovations where the driveway is blocked by materials or equipment.
- Laneway housing projects.
We handle the complex permit process:
- We determine if your street allows for a bin (not allowed on major arterial roads).
- We submit the application to Toronto Transportation Services.
- We provide the mandatory flashers and pylons required by Chapter 743.
City of Toronto Fees (Estimates):
- Application Fee: ~$160.00 (non-refundable one-time fee).
- Permit Fee: Calculated by square footage (approx. $25-$50 per day depending on area).
- Lost Revenue: If the bin blocks a Pay-and-Display spot, you must pay for lost parking revenue.
